So far it is the best food I have tasted during the dine out festival. The menu was very good, good portions, I ate meat, the other restaurants had cheaper options at the same prices, I also loved that they have a vegetarian option on the menu. The wine was exquisite, they have a BC cabernet that you must try. Lastly, the atmosphere was very pleasant. I would add a little more music, but I still recommend it.

We celebrate my niece wedding lunch celebration at Dahlia. We have the best experience. The food is perfect, and we have a beautiful ambiance, and we also have a wonderful server name, LUCAS. Lucas is amazingly great with his job. All my requests were granted because of him. Our family had a memorable time.

Had a great night at Dahlia. Great service, the hotel staff were super nice and checked my coat for me. Dishes were well made and beautifully presented. French italian influences. Surprised at the google reviews, compared to other French restaurants I think it should be higher. Although mocktails weren’t on the menu, the waiter made me a delicious mocktail based on flavours I like. Some stand out for me are the flourless chocolate cake, carrot cake, french onion soup, and the scallop pasta. I do think the seating can be just a bit less close. Great for a nice upscaled casual dinning experience or a nice drink, will definitely be back!

We had a very enjoyable dining experience at Dahlia. My partner and I tried the dine out menu and each course was very delicious. It was good value for the quality of the food. The first course was the tuna nicoise salad (in my case though the chef accommodated my dietary needs). The second course was very tender and flavourful beef Bourguignon - so tasty that I had trouble slowing down to eat this. These dishes were both perfectly seasoned and fresh. The last course was smooth and not too sweet tiramisu. Again thoroughly enjoyable. Our glasses of wine were perfect as well! In addition, the server was professional, attentive, and organized. We also appreciated the relaxing atmosphere - not sure about you but I dislike really loud restaurants and Dahlia was not at all like that. We could have a good conversation and enjoy the music too. I would definitely come back!

This was my third time dining at Dahlia. To reiterate what many others have said already in their reviews - the ambience inside is stunning. The restaurant is tucked away in the corner of a luxury hotel, and feels suitably polished with beautiful, expensive looking fixtures - yet manages to feel unpretentious with a relaxed atmosphere and friendly service. The food is delicious. Yes some items on the menu are pricey, but when you compare the quality of the ingredients (which is excellent) to other restaurants charging the same price, the selection feels fair to me, personally. The cheaper options on the menu are also beautifully prepared. I’ve had the burger and the french onion soup and both were excellent. My colleagues who dined with me were amazed at how good the burger is. For this visit I had the octopus (pictured) which was presented on a warm potato salad and garnished with mint leaves. The last time I had octopus this tender was in Greece. It was hard to believe I was being served octopus in vancouver which wasn’t tough and mistreated. The preparation was perfect and it was presented beautifully. The flavours were balanced beautifully between the octopus, the creamy potato salad, and the acidic emulsification framing the plate. The portion size was also generous and offered more than you would usually get for your money ordering elegantly plated dishes like this. I’ve had the pleasure of being served by a few different waiters at Dahlia and have always left happy. The food always comes out quickly and the overall demeanour of the staff is friendly, professional and crucially - respectful of your space while, say - mid conversation with a colleague or in the middle of dining. It’s always been a seamless experience front to back at this restaurant, and it’s quickly become a favourite for myself in the city. Very reliable place to take my colleagues and friends for a great lunch.

We went for Mother's Day. And the food was delicious. It was a set menu for Mother's Day. They let us order off menu and let us order oysters as well. The food was very delicious, and I would definitely come back to try the rest of the menu. Service was also top-notch. They were funny, friendly, and very personal. 10/10 would recommend.

I have selfishly held off on writing a review on this gem of a place but it's time to share. It's almost become a weekly routine for us as it's so darn consistent. We usually come for happy hour as they truly have the best quality oysters in town. Located in the lobby of Azur hotel, it's an intimate setting. Great for people watching all the hotel guests. The rest of the menu is solid along with the drinks and the service is top notch. Come and try and make it your next weekly routine :)

It was my first time coming to Dahlia and it was a great experience. We did not try food just drinks and dessert but all were great. The espresso martini was very smooth and sweet. The flourless cake was rich with a fudge-like consistency. Our server was attentive and friendly.
